Curls & Roots – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Curls & Roots! By booking an appointment or purchasing services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Appointments & Booking

  • All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our online booking system, phone and in-person.

  • Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled to keep timing fair for other clients.

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • No-shows or “no call/no show” situations will result in restrictions on future bookings.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are subject to change without notice and may vary based on hair length, condition, and style complexity.

  • A $40 detangling fee applies if hair is not detangled before the appointment.

  • A $25 blow-drying fee applies if required.

  • Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods: CIBC 1st Pay | First National | Bosl | Cash

  • A $60 holiday/convenience fee applies to bookings on public holidays, off-days, or special service requests outside normal hours.

  • All prices are listed in Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD).

4. Hair Preparation

  • Please arrive with hair fully detangled, and sectioned into 4 plaits. This helps ensure services run smoothly and on time.

  • If additional time is needed for detangling, the above fees will apply.

  • Clients must send a photo or description of the desired style at least one day before the appointment.

5. Children’s Services

  • For children’s appointments, devices should not be held on their laps or hands during treatments.

  • A shelf space will be provided for devices to help reduce strain on stylists while working.

6. Service Guarantee & Satisfaction

  • We strive for complete satisfaction. If you are not happy with your service, please notify us within 48 hours.

  • No refunds are offered for completed services, but we will make reasonable adjustments.

7. Salon Etiquette

  • Mutual respect is essential. Disrespectful behavior toward staff or clients will not be tolerated.

  • Please keep personal belongings safe; Curls & Roots is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

8. Photography & Social Media

  • We may take before-and-after photos for marketing. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your stylist in advance.

9. Gift Cards & Promotions

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash.

  • Promotional offers cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

10. Updates to Terms

  • Curls & Roots reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
